We are working with a globally recognised manufacturing business who are looking to add a Applications Engineer to join their talented and longstanding team.
This business has established a reputation for excellence in machinery, and prioritises sustainability and innovation in-house and amongst their suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, installation, and commissioning of company machines
- Create and modify PLC synchronised motion applications
- Install and configure Linux IPCs in machines
- Write software programs for safety PLCs / HMI software
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Visiting Customer premises as and when required to update / fault find / commission / install / repair machinery
Key Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience working to UK manufacturing standards
- Flexibility to visit Customer premises in the UK / stay away if required (approx. 10% off-site)
- Full UK driving license
- Full Right to Work in the UK
