Role Overview:
As an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be a crucial part of their team, contributing to the financial management of projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining your new company reputation for quality and client satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with project teams to understand project requirements and scope, particularly in relation to mechanical and electrical aspects.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and budgets for M&E components of projects.
Manage subcontractor procurement, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines.
Carry out comprehensive measurement and valuation of works and generate accurate progress reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and resolve any contractual disputes or changes.
Monitor project costs, identify potential variations, and manage the change control process effectively.
Maintain accurate records of cost, value, and payment, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
Contribute to project risk assessments and provide support in cost analysis.
Participate in regular project meetings to provide cost-related insights.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience as an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their associated costs.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as QS software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
