Registered Manager - Children's Residential
 
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run organisation that operates children's homes. The company has a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, with Ofsted ratings of "Outstanding" and "Good."
 
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the running of one home, ensuring high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations. There is potential for you to be involved in the opening and management of a second home, offering great opportunities for growth and career development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Overseeing daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
·Managing and supporting staff to maintain high standards of care.
·Ensuring the home provides a therapeutic environment for the children and young people.
·Maintaining relationships with external agencies, parents, and professionals
·Full autonomy in managing referrals and staffing decisions.
 
Essential Criteria:
 
·QCF Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce.
·Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Residential Management Pathway) or willingness to work towards it.
·Experience at Deputy or Manager level in a children's residential care setting.
