Atrium Recruitment are currently supporting a Residential Care Home who are seeking Senior Care Assistant based in the outskirts of Hull. We are seeking individuals with a passion for working with people and those that have experience in the care sector. Your role will also include working with:

· Dementia/Alzheimer’s

· Challenging Behaviours

· Elderly Support

Duties:

· Helping residents with personal support and care.

· Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.

· Maintaining care plans.

· Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.

· Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual).

· Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.

· Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.

Experience/ Qualifications:

· Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.

· Medication trained.

· Experienced in supporting residents with Dementia.

· Diving license and access to your own car.

· Right to work in the UK.

· Previous experience of 1 year min. with any of the above mentioned areas of care.
