Your role as a Support Worker in a Supported Living environment will be interactive. You'll work with a range of clients, aged 18 upwards, who require support to enable them to enjoy their adult lives. It's likely that the tenants will experience challenges associated with behavioural regulation difficulties, Autism or Learning Difficulties, for example. These conditions will make elements of everyday life slightly more challenging, such as money management, socialising, domestic duties, to name but a few.
Your work pattern will include a mixture of 12 and 8 hour shifts across both days and nights. Due to the nature of the role, your rota will include some weekday and weekend working.
