Job Title: Team Leader

Job Description:
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of employees to ensure the successful achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Your primary role will be to provide guidance, support, and direction to team members, foster a positive work environment, and promote effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
·Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring workload distribution and balancing resources effectively.
·Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning.
·Ensure product and dry goods are available ready for line start up
·Be fully trained and able to complete all roles within team
·Show empathy and emotional intelligence during challenging times for team members and escalate welfare concerns to Area Leader.
·Ensures 'Near Misses' and 'Accident/Incidents' are recorded and reported
·Ensure team take timely breaks, ensuring continuous production is maintained
·Ensure team are multi skilled and job rotation is taking place
·Be responsible for quality and compliance with customer standards of final product
·Escalate equipment damage or mechanical issues to Area Leaders

·Co-ordinate change overs ensuring team are aware of responsibilities and execute effectively
·Address and resolve conflicts, issues, and challenges within the team, promoting a positive and solutions-oriented approach.

·Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance team performance.
Requirements:
·Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a team leader or supervisor.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
·Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
·Knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices.
·Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
